The invaders will have the opportunity to visit free Villa Godi Malinverni, the beautiful gardens and the Museum of the Fossils.
Description of the place of the invasion:
Villa Godi is the first villa of Palladio, built in 1542, which belongs tio the rich artistic heritage of the Venetian Villas. Together with the other palladian villas in Veneto, it is included since 1996 in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
English style gardens, statues of ALbanese and Marinali adorn the facade of the villa, while in the back, the secular park extends with Italian style gardens, lovely lakes and vast green spaces.
Also worth visiting is the Museum of the Fossils, housed in a pavilion inside the secular park of the villa, founded in 1852 by the Count Andrea Piovene, with the fossils found in the same year by the geologist Achille de Zigno in the near Chiavon (stream flowing at Breganze).
Famous are the palms, whose worthy of particular note is the impressive FOSSIL PALM, placed horizontally inthe center of the hall of the Museum, 9.85 meters hoch, discovered in 1863, complete with roots, trunk and leaves, whose extraction took four years working.
In occasion of #digitalinvasions you can visit the inner rooms of the Villa with frescoes of Gianbattista Zelotti, Battista del Moro and Gualtiero Padovano and the Museum of the Fossils free from 18:00 to 22:00.
